DO NOT READ
An Intriguing heading, isn't it? Hey there, anyone who's reading this ,and is an acquaintance, please stop doing that.  The whole point of writing this journal kind of thing was to tell people about me . But lately, I've seen people(acquaintances) reading this and I hate to admit that I don't want them to know how desperate and pathetic I was ,or just so you know, I am. A stranger reading this, I'm okay with that. Sounds crazy, right? But that gives me a kick. Although, I am more than glad that you guys read my posts, and that makes me feel all warm and happy (given that it's dark in a cold December).
Now I'd like to tell what I am doing these days, however irrelevant they are to your day-to-day life. First and foremost, I'm so not doing my studies, and now that the exams are over , I'm here thinking what was the last semester all about, or,oh when, did it happen??! Having said that, I also started a new hobby, this typography kinda thing, and I'm posting bollocks on Instagram. Sorry for that :P . I have to get all serious about it, being half-hearted never helps, never! And however cliche might it sound, I'll still be doing the same things I've been doing every vacation: Reading Novels, Watching TV series and Films, not to mention Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and finally I hope to learn Photoshop this year. Omg, it's the end , and we're all doomed. LoL. End of 2016 already.  I'm not in support of the memes claiming 2016 was the worst year, or whatever. Indeed it was one of the most cherished years' of my life so far. And I'm thankful for that, truly, honestly, sincerely. I hope you all had a marvelous 2016 too, right? If not so, cheer up, you still got 27 days left . Make the most of it and go carefree. Don't give a damn about things. Just make it happening. Oh, when did I get all inspiring-motivating kinda person?! Haha. Anyway, that's all of me for today. Thanks for staying me with and er, wishing you all a Happy December and DFTBA :)

TESLA: THE WIZARD OF LIGHTNING
When you think about Electricity, you think about Edison. When you think about Radio, you think about Marconi. But the man who should get the credits for  these patents, who is nearly forgotten, is the electrical engineer and visionary, NIKOLA TESLA. The man who invented the 20th century. Yet he died broke and alone ,abandoned by the world. Nikola Tesla was born around midnight, between July 9 and July 10, 1856 during a fierce lightning storm. According to family legend, midway through the birth, the midwife wrung her hands and declared the lightning a bad omen. This child will be a child of darkness, she said, to which his mother replied: “No.He will be a child of Light.”
He was born ahead of his time, a man who invented wireless, even before wires came into use. He  invented a whole lot of things including Alternating Current, X-Rays, Tesla Coil, Fluorescent bulbs(before it was invented industrially), Radio, Remote Control, Laser, Wireless Communication and limitless free energy. Sigh. Wow. .
He has never been mentioned in a great way( to the best of my knowledge) as such geniuses like Einstein are mentioned. He spent all his money working on his inventions, and when other businessmen and tech guys stole his patents, he cared less about them saying “ I don’t care they stole my patents. I care that they don’t have any of their own”, which was of course arrogant in some sort of way, but true nonetheless.
A great thanks to Christopher Nolan, who featured David Bowie as Tesla in his film “The Prestige”, who was seen as a wizard ,whose tricks are imitated by  magicians.  Alas, he was considered to be a mad scientist who preached against the use of his own inventions.  He even predicted that inventions like smartphones  would destroy the world.  We bow to this man, or may I say a wizard. His final words (which were aimed at the people who used his patents) were “ The present is theirs. The future, for which I have really worked, is mine.”
P.S: Thanks Internet.

CIVIL WAR
So this saturday, I watched Captain America: Civil War which is a tremendously awesome and satisfying movie after what we've got from Batman v Superman. It was full packed with action and humor and stuffs. But I am not going to appreciate Stark's attitude, Cap's amazingly drooled-over hot physique or Spiderman's cool and funny character. Instead I'd like to appreciate the villain...Zemo, played by Daniel Bruhl. And it is itself evident from the film that a mere human who has no superpowers like that of Loki or Ultron or whatever can rip the Avengers apart, which in turn helps us to learn that to do something big, we need not require superpower, but willpower. In addition to that, Zemo himself motivates us by saying " Experience and Patience can help a man accomplish anything", and thus Zemo remains(till date) the best villain in the MCU. And yeah, lately I've grown much sympapthetic towards the villains(and I do believe they have the right ideals, which cannot be arguably proved wrong(Lex Luthor included)). So it is all about villains this year...Lex Luthor ringing the bell for Darkseid, Zemo-giving a hint about the Winter Soldiers! and ...wait a minute....Suicide Squad(the worst guys ever). Cheers for villains!
P.S: Civil War is one of the most brilliant movie ever.

COLLEGE WEEK 2016
I was deciding on doing something substantial this sophomore year(since i am in the 4th semester, the end of sophomore year). But I wasn't able to score best grades on my papers, so it is time for action in the college week.
I couldn't recall all the weird things that happened this week, but 'a sole-less shoe march past' was indeed one of them. And guess what?! We won the third prize for God's sake. Nonetheless this college week was awesome, fun-thrilled(not to mention biased and chaotic) and responsibility-driven. And from my perspective, one may or may not be happy, but winning an award surely makes the week, let alone the day. So these were the events I participated in...and the results(this is itself evident that I am more of a mind-guy rather than a sporty one)
1. Post-decoration (2nd prize)
2. March Past(3rd prize)
3. Quiz(2nd prize)
4. Chess(3rd prize)
5. Cultural Rally(no prize)
6.Comic Verse(result yet to be declared, but I guess I would win one)
7. Wall Magazine(1st EFFING PRIZE)
And not only me, all the other competitors were quite enthusiastic and we cheered for our teams to the loudest of our voices.Haha! So it's time to bid the month of february>college week>29th of february(leap day) goodbye...and to start "the normal" way of living life again :)

THE TRIP.
I remember when I went to Sivsagar last time, I was maybe 14-15  old, and the club which took us there for a field trip made us write an essay on the journey. I wrote. End of story. Period.
And so when I went Sivsagar this time(which was yesterday with five of my friends) I thought of following the ritual of writing an essay. But hey, I am a grown-up. I  dont follow orders...so I am keeping it short, honestly.
To cut a long story short
1. I would have died by tripping!!! God, there was like, 1 lac people. I am thankful that I was alive( no suffocation neither tripping). Hurrah!
2. We walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and (yawn)....
3. We ate meals, not delicious enough, but satisfactorily enough to fill out our tummies.
4. Saw the tombs and monuments again after a long time.
5. And finally we took photographs and selfies...

So yeah. That's it. Bye. Just a short update. It was a good time with friends. <3
